The 2026 Reconciliation Revision
“Adopt the proposed 2026 charter revision (every change marked inline at charter.bdl2k.com) as the official BDL charter?” — passed with all seven voting franchises in favor, none opposed. The off-season threshold is seven participating and 51% in favor; this cleared it at 100%.
This was not a single rule change but a full reconciliation. The charter had drifted from a decade of league decisions — MyFantasyLeague purges the message board, so poll-ratified amendments from 2016–2025 were never written into the text, and years of accreted wording had grown internally contradictory. The revision rebuilt the charter from the league’s complete poll history (2015–2025, 31 polls), then ran a full internal consistency audit.
What changed — 51 annotated changes
Wording = language cleanup, no change in meaning · Clarification = defines a fuzzy term or codifies existing practice · New rule = the charter was silent and a default was adopted. Every poll-ratified amendment listed below was also folded into the running text, and a new Rulings Appendix (§12) was added for player-specific precedents.
Where the detail is preserved
- The current charter — the clean, definitive text as ratified.
- The annotated ballot — the exact document the league voted on, with all 51
changes still marked inline — is frozen in the project repository at git tag
charter-2026-ballot. - The reconciliation record (
docs/charter-reconciliation.md) checks every one of the 31 historical polls against the old charter, with the fix applied; the audit (docs/charter-audit.md) is the consistency pass.
